Why does the Sunseeker robotic lawn mower now return to the charging station when the battery level is at 20%, even though it used to start at 15%?

Modified on Thu, 6 Nov at 10:56 AM

The Sunseeker robotic lawn mower automatically adjusts the return threshold for battery capacity to the respective environmental conditions. This threshold can vary between 15% and 30%.

If the return threshold for a device has changed from 15% to 20%, this is most likely due to the temperature. In cooler conditions, the battery voltage drops more quickly, which is why the mower returns to the charging station a little earlier to ensure that it reaches it reliably.

A manual change to this return threshold is not intended, as this is the only way to ensure that the mower always has enough energy for a safe return.
